Overview
Following sell-out exhibitions in 2020 and 2021, Alon Zakaim Fine Art and Connaught Brown are delighted to present their third exhibition of Eric Tucker’s paintings and watercolours.
Tucker’s ability to capture the warmth of life in the industrial North of England with honesty and humour has received an overwhelming response, attracting interest from all over the world.
Alon Zakaim Fine Art and Connaught Brown will transform their Mayfair galleries into Tucker’s studio and local pub, showing his extraordinary pictures in the surroundings that inspired them.
Fiercely private about his art, even Tucker’s own family were unaware of the scale of his output until his death. At the end of his life Tucker finally requested that his art be shown to the public This led to a retrospective at the Warrington Museum and Art Gallery; his posthumous celebrity began and has grown exponentially since.
