From 1 May - 18 September 2016, the Musuem at Grounds For Sculpture in the historic New Jersey State Fairgrounds will display more than 100 works by Boaz Vaadia, spanning his early work in the 1970s as a young artist in New York to recent work created in the past decade in his Williamsburg Brooklyn studio.
The Domestic Arts building will feature rarely seen examples of Vaadia’s early works, demonstrating his initial influence from pop-art and also pointing to the beginning of the artist’s focus on playing with gravity, a key element developed masterfully in his later iconic works. Studying the progression of his work from the 1970s and early 1980s, Vaadia's current body of work will be seen in the Museum building and in the surrounding landscape.
